There are 3 methods for dental implantation

First method: two step surgery:

the implant is placed in a first surgery along with the cover screw, then it is totally covered by the gingiva.

after 3 to 4 weeks, the gingiva is uncovered by a second step surgery and a healing abutment is placed.

the final impression and crown placement take place after 1 to 3 weeks from the second surgery (healing abutment placement).

Second method: one step surgery:

the implant is placed in a first surgery along with the healing abutment, then it is partially covered by the gingiva.

after 3 to 4 weeks, the final impression and crown placement take place.

Third method: Immediate Loading: Ferrari technology:

The implant along with the abutment and the temporary crown are placed in the same surgery (even after immediate extraction of the tooth), the final crown also could be placed in the same session (Cad Cam) or during the same week.

Anterior implants: Implant placement in the anterior region of the jaw is the of the most difficult reastorative cases. Optimal aesthetic result is the most important consideration.With confidence to ossteointegration,  Implant position must be considered in all 3 dimensions and in relation to adjacent teeth.
